“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, in the 1700 block of Columbia Road, Northwest.

The relaunched 2,200-square-foot space, opening Wednesday, February 20, is located just a flight of stairs away from the elegant Afghan bistro, Lapis (also owned by the Popal family of Cafe Bonaparte and The Berliner) and will now be a standalone venue for cocktails and light fare in the evening. Lapop — “Popal” spelled backwards — pays homage to 19th-century Parisian and Viennese cafes where intellectuals and artists gathered to share ideas over good food and drinks. The (photo above) got me thinking about dog poo etiquette. However one feels about dogs, I think we can all agree that leaving dog poo on the ground is just plain wrong, but after that there might be some disagreement. My questions for the community are:
1) Is it ever acceptable to put bagged poo in someone else’s trash can?
