I found someone’s phone in front of my house (14th and Allison St NW). It turned out to be a neighbor who was jumped, kidnapped and taken to different ATMs to get money out.
This happened Thursday morning, 1:09 am, my Nest doorbell captured it.

Third District
· On Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at approximately 10:30 pm, the suspects approached the victim in the 1300 block of Corcoran Street, Northwest. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and additional suspects forced the victim inside of a vehicle. The suspects drove the victim to multiple ATMs and withdrew funds from the victim’s bank accounts. Read More

He has been transported to an area hospital for treatment. The 1300 block of Longfellow Street, NW is closed to pedestrians and vehicle traffic while the crime scene is being processed.

An adult male suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was taken to a local hospital. One male suspect was taken into custody.
