“Dear PoPville,
I wanted to give a heads-up to folks in the neighborhood. My girlfriend was on a jog this morning around 11:45 and was followed by a car (late model black sedan) as she ran up 16th street between Crittenden and Military. He would park at every intersection and wait for her to cross and he would drive by her and then go up a few blocks, turn right, then come to park and wait for her at the next intersection.
She didn’t get the license plate number but he appeared to be white maybe Latino in his 30s/40s. She was obviously very afraid and called for a friend to pick her up to take her home. Because he didn’t commit an actual crime, the police could only send a car to canvas the area. This is just a reminder for people to be aware of their surroundings even during the day.”
