“Dear PoPville,

Please help spread the word about this survey for Carter Barron planning. Would love to see this great venue get the much needed attention and renovations it deserves to bring life back into it! Survey closes this Friday.”

“Rock Creek Conservancy – Share Your Perspective!

The Carter Barron Amphitheater is a Washington, DC cultural landmark with its home in Rock Creek Park, the third park in the nation to be designated as a U.S. National Park. The amphitheater has a legacy of diverse performances – from jazz and Shakespeare to Springsteen and Chuck Brown – and accessible ticket prices. In this way, it embodies the ideal of democracy, providing a forum for community members and all Americans to gather. When the amphitheater was shuttered by the National Park Service 6 years ago because it was structurally unsound, we lost an important artistic and community gathering place.

Rock Creek Conservancy is playing a pivotal role to revitalize and reopen the Carter Barron Amphitheater in 2026. Your answers to this brief survey will provide us with important perspective as the Conservancy joins together with the National Park Service to restore Carter Barron Amphitheater for generations to come. Your confidential opinion matters.

Sincerely,
Jeanne Braha
Executive Director
Rock Creek Conservancy”
