With the closure of E St Cinema, Rocky Horror DC (the Sonic Transducers) is moved to Landmark Bethesda Row! Their first nights were last week, and they’re moving to 10:30 PM shows (instead of midnight). The do the second weekend each month.”

A tipster writes a brief update that E Street Cinema: “supposedly March 6th is the last day.”
And indeed a spokesperson confirmed it to the Post: “We will not be showing any movies beyond March 6.”

his law, officially passed on July 19, 2024, mandates that all movie theaters with three or more screens in DC provide a minimum number of open-captioned screenings during peak hours. This ensures better access for the Deaf community, which has had to deal with problematic closed-captioning devices.”
