A liquor license placard for Capitol Grocer has now been posted for the for the grocery store coming to Woodley Park:
“A new class B Full-Service Grocery store selling beer and wine for off-premises consumption.
HOURS OF OPERATION AND HOURS OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE SALES
Sunday Through Saturday 8am – 10pm”
Capitol Grocer comes from the folks behind Capitol Supermarket.

We were chatting with the employees at Tyra Banks’ Smize and Dream, and they said while the shop is closing tomorrow (Sunday), it’ll reopen next year elsewhere in DC. She wouldn’t disclose where — we tried! — but she said it would be in a less “sleepy” area than Woodley. (more…)
