“stopped at the light on the corner of 13th and U St NW. All of a sudden we heard a crash and saw that my windshield had been smashed.”

“This incident happened Sunday night around 8:30pm. I was in the car with my boyfriend, stopped at the light on the corner of 13th and U St NW. All of a sudden we heard a crash and saw that my windshield had been smashed. At first I thought it was gunshots so we quickly drove away to compose ourselves. We realized this couldn’t have been a bullet so we parked and walked back to the scene and found this rock on the ground. (more…)

Rebel Taco Cantina coming to U Street

This is the former home of The Prospect sports bar, but known to most as the Ulah Bistro space.

The liquor license placard for Rebel Taco Cantina says:
