“This incident happened Sunday night around 8:30pm. I was in the car with my boyfriend, stopped at the light on the corner of 13th and U St NW. All of a sudden we heard a crash and saw that my windshield had been smashed. At first I thought it was gunshots so we quickly drove away to compose ourselves. We realized this couldn’t have been a bullet so we parked and walked back to the scene and found this rock on the ground. (more…)

Back in July we learned that a Tavern called Mama ‘San would be coming to the lower levels. Last week a liquor license placard was also posted on the second floor for a spot called Lyve at U, which says:
“New Retailer’s Class “C” Tavern serving seafood, burgers, wings, and salads. Applicant is applying for an Entertainment Endorsement with Dancing and Cover Charge inside the premises only.
