Back in July we learned that Solly’s would return to their original size. Now we know what’s becoming of the former expanded space – A liquor license placard for DNA Lounge says:
“A new Retailer’s Class C Tavern with a seating capacity of 30 and Total Occupancy Load of 30. Applicant requests an Entertainment Endorsement with a Dance Floor to provide live entertainment.” (more…)

Solly’s, one of the very, very best bars in D.C. posts this morning:
“Soooo. Solly’s will close at 10pm 12/24 until March. We appreciate everyone’s support and look forward to returning. Please stop in for a laugh and a Powers before then. We will be posting ways to help support our staff during the shutdown so stay tuned.”

Thanks to Zack for sending. Bar Lorea closed after a brief residency here back in January 2020. Prior to Bar Lorea this space was home to Diet Starts Monday, The BBQ Joint, Den of Thieves, Hanoi House, and Blackbyrd Warehouse space. Check out Victory’s Miami menu here.
