From a press release:

“On October 30th, 2021, Spot of Tea will host a grand opening celebration of their new permanent location at 2400 14th St NW. Founded back in 2017 as a staple of the D.C. farmer’s market circuit, Spot of Tea has spent the past two years serving one-of-a-kind tea flavors and boba out of their NoMa location. Their mission is to create a warm and inviting community of boba-ristas and tea-drinkers, in addition to serving delicious drinks. Spot of Tea will be building on this community-centered vision at their new location.

To celebrate their opening, Spot of Tea will be donating all profits on October 30th and October 31st to four DC-based non-profits centered around the different components that support a thriving community. Service Bar update from IG (thanks to TOTU for tagging us):

“As a small business continuing to navigate this post-quarantine world – we continue to prioritize the safety of our staff and guests. As such, starting this week, Tuesday, October 26th, we are requiring guests to show proof of vaccination at the door.

Our goal is to provide every guest with the best and safest experience possible. We appreciate compliance with this new standard as well as with DC’s mask mandate. We hope that in doing so we may remain open, and continue to serve you going into the winter/holiday months.

Thank you to all of YOU for your continued support as we navigate life through this ongoing pandemic.”
