Sunday morning around 10:30 Am I was riding an ebike at 14th and U St, NW and I crashed.
It probably did not appear that bad but with my 3 metal joints I was laying on the ground in severe pain. A nice man walked over picked up the e bike for me and asked if I was OK. I was so embarrassed that I got up and said thank you and told him I was fine when I really just wanted to lay there. Lol
He could have went about his day like everybody else but it’s good to be reminded that there are sweet people in this world. And I just wanted to express my gratitude in that moment.“

Back in August we learned that Local 16 would be closing after 22 years on U Street. A tipster sends word that they hear a “Belgian beer restaurant” will be taking over the space. STAY TUNED.

Featuring London’s most popular Indian dishes, favorites included Fish n Chips with Curry Sauce, Chicken Tikka Masala, Jalfrezi Fries (stir fried bell pepper) and Nargisi Kofta (meatballs with a rich curry sauce).
