My close friends and several family members were all walking from my apt on H ST NE, north towards Union Market, to cap off a great weekend of celebrating my doctoral graduation. Sadly, as we were about to cross Florida Ave, these 2 or 3 teens with a gun robbed two in my large group of their belongings. This is ridiculous to say the least that these teens did it in broad daylight, in front of children and several homeowners just enjoying their front lawn. 1:00 PM on a sunny Sunday. (more…)

DC Fire and EMS reported: “Update 2nd Alarm 2600 block Adams Mill Rd NW. All 28 units in the building are uninhabitable. There are currently 24 occupants who indicate they are displaced.” (more…)
