Do you know what the scoop is on the fate of the Rock Creek Tennis Center? I was playing there and learned that the management contract expired on Saturday 2/28 with no new contract in sight. This means that as of Sunday, March 1, all classes and clinics are canceled; coaches and contractors lose their jobs; and court access is suspended. At least that’s what the staff told me. They know nothing about what happens next. Do you?”


“Dear PoPville,

This is a longshot, but I thought worth a try. My wife lost her wedding band sometime during her train ride (Amtrak regional #107, approximately 10 pm arrival at Union Station) and the Uber ride home. She went back to the train the night she lost it (big round of applause to the lovely Amtrak staff who very kindly helped her look) and looked through the entire car she was in and the path she took out of the station.
