Ed. Note: OP rushed to the vet but put in a call to 311 for city services to have it cleaned up – but that obviously could take a while, if ever, so if someone lives nearby can clean it up – that’d be most appreciated. And most importantly please be aware here, and elsewhere on 18th/alleys to make sure pup steers clear. If it’s cleaned up today, the same person could put more out tomorrow.

Update: “Another neighbor had cleaned most of the worst offenders up, so we removed some errant pellets. HOWEVER, there is still a lot of it on the ground in harder to access locations in the rear/alley of 1777 T St NW. @HumaneRescue has been called as well.”
