“Nobu will open in an 11,600-square-foot space on the ground floor of the condominium building [2501 M St, NW], which is expected to open in the fall of 2016. The buildout will cost more than $10 million…”

Not sure how to process this one but I played squash I’d be pretty psyched. Previously we learned:

“I thought you might like to know that Landmark Theatres has leased the former West End Cinema space and that they plan to reopen the theater on July 17. They have a sign on the window of the cinema and they are currently hiring new staff (they placed on ad in craigslist).”

“The Metropolitan Police Department announced an arrest has been made in a Robbery Force and Violence offense against an elderly couple, which occurred on Friday, May 29, 2015, near the intersection of 23rd and Q Streets, Northwest at approximately 11:00 am.
On Friday, May 26, 2015, at approximately 3:00 pm, officers and detectives from the Second District arrested 50-year-old Milton Hood of Northwest, DC after receiving help in identifying the suspect, from the community.”

“The new Panera “to go” opened yesterday on 20th between L & M. iPads for ordering, you can still go to the cashiers. No seating, all “order and go”. Interesting alphabetically-grouped cubbies where your bag is delivered by first name. Mostly smooth operation and knowledgable staff.”
