I’ve been getting lots of emails from folks asking for updates on the Streets Market coming to the old Metro K space. I’m told they are just waiting on a construction permit but they are definitely still coming. If all goes well they should open in the fourth quarter of 2019.

Also the Streets coming to the West End is on track to open in the third quarter of this year.
Updates as we get exact opening dates at both locations.

“Meiwah is closing in DC after nearly 20 years in business. Owner Larry La says he’ll shutter the Chinese restaurant on Tuesday, May 14 due to a proposed rent hike and the building’s landlord wanting to expand on the West End space. (more…)
