“Our school community is devastated by the news of the loss of Patricia Harris, a parent at Van Ness Elementary in Washington, DC. She was a mother to three children, ages 14, 8 and 4.
An innocent bystander, her life was needlessly taken in a drive-by shooting on December 21, 2023.
We cannot bring her back. But we can try to wrap our community around these children and their grandmother to do what we can to help in this terrible time. (more…)

Myself, along with several other residents have been really frustrated with the flood lights that Nats park has recently started to turns on at all hours of the night and day. Despite putting blinds down the lights are so strong that they still come through and are affected sleep. See pic below(and doesn’t even do justice). (more…)
