While at the location officers located multiple shell casing in the block. There were no injuries or property damage reported. Any information please contact 202-727-9099″

Oh no, we’ve been loving these every year since at least 2008. Thanks to all who messaged that they haven’t gone up this year (they are usually up by now.) Maybe they are concerned with accessing people’s units due to the virus? Fingers crossed they are able to figure out a way to put them up before the New Year!!

Alan Henney reported at 3:29pm: “ARMED ROBBERY w/ AK-47 RIFLE— Meridian Pl off 16th St NW-DC in the Columbia Heights/ Mt. Pleasant area. 3 men, 1 armed with an AK47-style rifle, robbed the victim of $$, phone and keys, then they fled in a gray Nissan Maxima.”
