“Dear PoPville,
Do you know anything about the live opera performance that took place next to the Pierce house in Rock Creek Park Sunday (Aug 30) afternoon? Like who the performers were? They were each spectacular. I randomly stumbled into it on a bike ride. Thank you!”

“Dear PoPville,
I’m hoping you can help me find a Good Samaritan who helped out my family today.
While on a short hike with just our 3-year old this morning (without her phone! or telling us where she was going!), my mom suffered a bad fall and hurt her foot. They were able to flag a car on Broad Branch Rd near 27th St NW, and this incredible woman stopped, gave my mom a mask, and drove them both home. My mom was too pained and stressed to get her name, but I’d love to get in touch to express my profound gratitude. Picking up an injured stranger during a pandemic is a special kind of selflessness, and I’m so thankful to have my mom and daughter home safe (and in my mom’s case, on her way to the ER for X-rays).”
Ed. Note: If this is you please email me at [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP.
