“Dear PoPville,

The Mckinley Tech track team is the reigning DC champion and needs to raise funds for buses to compete against Maryland and Va. To that end, they’ve partnered with the highly popular GoGo Fitness and will host an exercise/dance party on the lawn at the high school. For those who don’t like to exercise they can just come out and dance to some great music. Gogo Fitness is giving 100% of proceeds to the track team. Donate on site.”

“Dear PoPville,

Extreme city and environmental waste going on at Harry Thomas rec center. The Harry Thomas pool is overflowing and DPR is closed. The water is running at full strength. Do you know anyone who may be able to turn it off this holiday weekend?”

Ed. Note: I’m tagging 311, DPR and Ward 5 reps on twitter, hopefully someone will be able to address.

Update from DPR on twitter “We will address this. Thanks for flagging.”
