“Unfortunately, our restaurant had a kitchen fire a couple of months ago resulting in a closure for the foreseeable future.
It looks like the restaurant won’t be able to reopen until next spring.”
Thanks to Mike for sending: “The note on the door has been there since the summer, so pretty dated. I walked by yesterday and Philotimo is still closed form the kitchen fire they had in the summer. Do know if they will reopen?” (more…)

Thanks to Dean for sharing: “Pow Pow at 13th and I NW looks like it’s ready to open but stuck waiting for the city right now. I know they originally wanted to open at the start of November.”
Been Coming Soon since December 2020!! Hopefully not too much longer.
Pow Pow’s first location opened on H Street, NE back in 2016.
