“Dear PoPville,
Warning to women: I was broken into twice over the past 1.5 months. The first time they stole cash, the second time nothing was stolen, however my bolt lock was left unlocked. After the second robbery, I realized my bars in my bedroom window were not secured, so a heavy duty Locke was placed on the bars and I installed security cameras. The cops were called both times. and in Bloomingdale around 11:15pm:
“multiple large caliber gunshots (6+) heard in #BloomingdaleDC south of Adams, west of Flagler”
“A dozen bangs then pause and 10 more? Hopefully not more gunshots in the Channing/1st area?”
“Just heard what sounded like gunshots by 2nd and W NW.”

“Any word on The Coupe? I walked by today and the front doors now have signage for “Magnolia Cafe” and the inside is totally decorated for Christmas, complete with a Christmas tree. Would love to know what’s going on there!”
“Branding and signage at The Coupe has been replaced by “Magnolia cafe.” I’m intrigued, but can’t find anything about the change anywhere…”

“Getting so tired of typing this: shots fired near 14th and Fairmont in Columbia Heights”
“Another day another shooting near my house in Columbia Heights. 4-5 shots fired around 3:23 PM near 14th & Euclid or 14th & Fairmont.”
As of 5:17pm there have been no reports from MPD so presumably nobody was injured. Will update if any official info becomes available.
