“We are currently investigating a Robbery Force and Violence that just occurred in the 100 block of 6th Street, SE [January 8th]. An adult male reported to the First Police District that he had just had his prescription filled at Grubb’s Pharmacy 326 E Capitol Street NE and left in his wheelchair when he was approached by 2 B/M subjects, one of which snatched his prescription from the back of his wheelchair where the pharmacy bag was hanging. “Proceeds from the sale will be given to the Department of Justice to offset the costs associated with providing us with prosecution data for every ward in the city for the past five years.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is charging $40 an hour to find this information. Hopefully, they can find this information quickly. Too many crimes are occurring on Capitol Hill and only a small percentage of individuals involved in these crimes are being prosecuted. As residents of Capitol Hill, we deserve to know why this occurring.

It was found “on 1st Street SE right outside of the Capitol South Metro entrance today (12:45pm November 25th). I’d like to reunite the ring with its owner if possible! Its a very unique ring so if someone can give me an accurate description I’ll get it back to them.”

“On Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at approximately 10:35 pm, a female complainant was walking in the 200 block of 8th Street, Southeast, when a male suspect approached from the rear and pushed her to the ground. Taken was a tote bag containing personal items. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. The First District Detective’s Office is currently investigating this offense. Anyone with information regarding this offense is asked to call (202) 299-2025 or (202) 727-9099.”

Update:

“This incident has been classified as an Assault with Intent to Commit First Degree Sex Abuse.

The victim was accosted by the suspect who originally demanded her property and subsequently forced her pants down. After obtaining her property, the suspect fled the area.
