Our line of fruit ketchups feature five original flavors: cherry, blueberry, peach, mango, and plum. Each variety has the same tangy and sweet zip of tomato ketchup, but offer a much wider range of food pairings for all occasions.

So what makes ‘Chups, ketchup? Tomatoes are only one ingredient in ketchup. Similarly, ‘Chups are made with different fruits (instead of tomatoes), combined with our own blend of vinegar, spices and other natural ingredients. ‘Chups are really quite simple, yet introduce your taste buds to a world of wallop you never knew existed!

Our Mission

The purpose of the ketchup revolution is threefold:

1. To introduce new varieties of ketchup into a market dominated by tomato-based products.

2. To broaden the scope of ketchup usage and highlight its pairing with a variety of foods.

3. To celebrate the history of ketchup while bringing “new” varieties back to the forefront of America’s food culture.”

I didn’t know Travis well, but many of my friends did and he was an important part of DC. I’m sure his one-year-old and wife could use all the support they can get in the face of this tragedy.”

“As many of you know, Travis Jackson, father, husband, musician, and founder of DC’s Windian Records, was killed in a work accident last night off of Suitland Parkway in DC; he leaves behind his wife Ashley and their 1-year old son, Link (named for Link Wray, as he’d be happy to tell you!)

Many of you know Travis from his years as the drummer in the Points, or maybe he helped book your band in DC as he often did, in return for nothing but the friends it created. Most of you have probably ordered a record or three from Windian Records, the label that he ran almost single-handedly for three years that earned accolades and fought to keep DC in the spotlight.

There has been an awesome outpouring of support from friends and fans alike, and the DC media has offering excellent support as well. That is why Windian Records is setting up this fund while Travis’ passing is fresh in everyone’s memory; while none of us can know what his wife Ashley and his son Link are going through, we can reach out to help through this tough time.

Every dollar helps and will Keep Travis’ legacy alive. The reason he did what he did was because he cared deeply about others, so your support shows that you do the same.”

“City Blossoms, the Petworth-based non-profit that runs community garden-based education programs for kids in DC and Baltimore, is holding a unique fundraising event on 11/16 at Dacha Beer Garden in Shaw to unveil its “Flying Fish Pepper Hot Sauce.” The sauce is made from, you guessed it, Fish peppers, which are a Chesapeake heirloom variety hot pepper that was prized by African American families and cooks for 150 years until almost disappearing in the early 20th century. City Blossoms has joined the local movement that is trying to bring back the Fish pepper and the big crop the organization grew this year was mixed with salt, sugar, garlic and vinegar to make a fiery and fruity sauce. The event will feature jars of hot sauce ($5 donation), a whole hog from Red Apron Butchery on the BBQ ($5 donation for a sandwich), bluegrass music and a cider toast from Distillery Lane Ciderworks in Maryland. Dacha Beer Garden will also be donating a portion of all beer and cider sold at the event to City Blossoms.
