“Come support Special Olympics D.C. by taking on a cool challenge: a Polar Plunge at Catholic University!
Special Olympics DC athletes take on challenges in our community every day with perseverance, grit, and optimism, despite the difficulties they encounter. Show your spirit and commitment to helping D.C.’s 1,400 Special Olympic athletes by taking a dip into an icy cool above-ground pool while raising much-needed funds on their behalf.
The first-ever Special Olympics D.C. Polar Bear Plunge will be held on Saturday, February 8 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Catholic University. There will be music, food, beverages, activities, and of course, plunging!
Find out more and register for the Plunge at www.plungedc.com. You can set up an online personal page to participate in the Plunge, or you can donate directly to Special Olympics D.C.
