Thanks to Steve for sending from outside Chicatana around 2:45am: “There were a bunch of fire and other emergency vehicles there. I was surprised to see so many.”

DC Fire and EMS reported: “Final Update: Box Alarm – 3900 Block of 14th Street NW

All fire contained to kitchen.

Cause of fire is accidental/mechanical in nature. @DC_DOB, @_DCHealth, and @PepcoConnect requested to scene.

DC Fire and EMS reports: “Update 2 Alarm fire Unit block Seaton Pl. NW. All visible fire extinguished. Opening up and extinguishing hotspots. Extension to adjacent attached home halted. Anticipating several displacements. Still no injuries reported.

Update 2 Alarm fire unit block Seaton Pl. NW. Attacking fire all floors via interior and working to cut off extension via attics. Still fire in attic and roof of original fire building.”

Update: DC Fire and EMS reporting “2 alarm fire 3800 block Albamarle St NW. Heavy fire on arrival large 2 story detached frame house. Heavy fire knocked down. Hose lines moving in on both floors.”

“Update 2 Alarm fire 3800 block Albermarle St NW. Still exposing & extinguishing pockets of fire in a large 2.5 story detached frame house. Fire basement extended all floors and attic. There are no injuries reported.”

I heard one of the propane tanks explode, and the FD still has Monroe blocked off as they are running a line from the hydrant on our street and through a basement apartment on Monroe….”

DC Fire and EMS reported: “Working Fire: 2400 Block of Kalorama Road NW – 2 and 1/2 story single family home – Smoke and fire showing from 1st floor upon arrival.

Fire out. Bulk of fire contained to one floor with minor extension. Units backing down to 1 engine 1 truck and fire investigators.

Update 2 Alarm fire 2400 block Kalorama Rd NW. Bulk of fire knocked down via outside attack. Still have pockets of fire that are being extinguished. No injuries. Fire investigators on scene. There will be a media briefing at 8 AM opposite 2443 Kalorama Rd NW.”
