People should not use USPS Priority certified mail if they have any concern about the timing of a delivery or even ensuring that a delivery occurs.

I am currently staying out near the end of the D6 bus line. Today on my way home, the bus driver stopped twice and idled for 5 minutes at random stops. I asked what was wrong and they showed me a screen saying they were ahead of schedule and had to stop in order to “not leave anyone at the upcoming stops.” (more…)

I was wondering if any artists out there have recommendations for how to get their name out there / how to start participating in in-person events? I’d love to set up a table at a makers market at a brewery or bar.”

Not a DC resident, but I do spend a lot of time ferrying my partner to medical appointments in Foggy Bottom. We hate cars too, but when he has a medical procedure, he needs to be driven (and prefers not to be vomiting in the vehicle of a stranger so that knocks out rideshare). I’m a #freeparkingisntfree adherent so I’m down with paying for parking, but why doesn’t DC make it easier? (more…)
