I was playing tennis on Sunday (January 2nd) at the courts on 18th Street in Adams Morgan. A very patient (and good-looking) guy asked us how much time we had left. I tried twice last night and once this morning, and never received a verification code (screenshot above). Because of that, I couldn’t move ahead any further in the process. The newest census data about DC’s population loss in 2021 really concern me. For 2021, the loss is 20,000. That is almost a quarter of DC’s net increase of 88,000 over the ten-year period 2010-2020.
The implications for DC local businesses already struggling during this ongoing COVID situation are enormous, as they are for the overall health& growth of the city’s economy & our quality of life in DC.”
