Our row house porch roof is in need of repair, probably full rebuild. Is there a code that says we can’t add a skylight to the porch roof?
I don’t recall our zone, but I’m pretty sure it’s residential only. We live on the east side of the 5100 block of New Hampshire Ave. NW in Ward 4.”

My husband and I had a Covid exposure over the weekend. We picked up a PCR test at the West End library on Tuesday and submitted the sample in the outside collection bin at 6:02pm on Tuesday. I know this because the library had just closed. Both my husband and I just received the text message below stating our samples weren’t processed because they weren’t received before 8pm, which is not true. Now we’re scrambling to find another testing option before seeing family members this weekend. Really frustrating.”
DC Health reports at 1:37pm:
“DC Health is aware that some TestYourselfDC users have incorrectly received a message stating their sample was received after the 8pm cutoff time. Samples are still being processed as expected and we are working with our vendors to make adjustments.“

This is my experience with an iPhone upgrade.
When you transfer your iPhone, everything seems to transfer. However, the SmarTrip card didn’t transfer and I didn’t notice until after I deleted it and traded it in.

Since we’re heading into the cold winter months, I thought your readers might be interested in stocking up some carbs. Plus, it’s an unconventional business model.
The business is called Velvel Breads and it functions like a CSA — customers buy a month of bread upfront, then get to pick up a loaf each week.
