“Dear PoPville,

I have a job interview later this week. My last interview was several years ago, and I am WAY out of practice. Any recommendations? What sorts of questions are common in interviews these days, any do’s and don’ts, general recommendations, etc.?”

“Dear PoPville,

“Dear PoPville,

I’m hoping you can help me find a witness. Around 2:45 pm yesterday (Wed.), I was stopped at the light on Park Place and Kenyon Street NW. I was in the left lane, next to the southbound bike lane. Very suddenly, 2-3 cars (maybe Kia Souls? There were no cyclists or others in the lane, thank goodness.

I heard a scrape, not a crash, and was so stunned I didn’t know what to do. As I got out to look at the car, I noticed scratches and scraping. I then saw a police car drive by, and turn right on Kenyon (not following any of the cars, no lights on, etc). (more…)

A while ago it started displaying this “Visitor Parking Permit” (I’ve marked out personally identifiable information) on the dashboard and staying all day in spaces restricted to residents. The format looks legit, (more…)
