Holly writes: “Capitol Hill was opened to sledders. Remember it was closed last year after the riot…and there was a lovely snow last year, but the fence was up and no one could sled. Yesterday, there were Cap Hill. police officers all around, and they were helping the families sledding and watching, and laughing with us. It felt like DC again.”

“Metrobus is temporarily suspending service immediately due to rapidly deteriorating weather and hazardous road conditions throughout the region. All buses currently in operation with customers will operate to the end of the line to complete their routes if safe to do so.
