Thanks to a reader for the heads up on “another place to find Album Cover of the week”. Awesome. I stopped by on Saturday but as of now the new record section is only open Monday-Friday.

Coming soon signage is now posted for a new Walgreens at the former Guess space on the corner of 12th and F St, NW. Looks like it’ll be pretty massive. Washington Business Journal reported:
“Walgreens will open one of its newer format, flagship-style stores, offering prepared foods, fresh produce and the wider array of items similar to the offerings at the Walgreens that opened last year at Seventh and H streets NW.” [in Chinatown]

12th and F Street, NW

Last week Gallagher & Graham opened but I finally peeked inside. It’s a bit smaller than I thought but really turned out nicely. I was told “the architect was Bernard Matze who recently returned to Argentina and the contractors/carpenters were Patriot Construction of VA.”
