“Veloce will officially launch its beer program next week”

“Veloce will officially launch its beer program, offering a small selection of beers curated by beverage director Josh Fernands, starting next week. A selection of canned beers, and two beers on draft will be available: Ballast Point Sculpin IPA from San Diego, CA, and a local Farmhouse Ale style brew from Right Proper Brewing Company called Ornette. To celebrate the beer program launch, for the week of 11/2-11/6, Veloce will offer a special “Thor’s Right Proper Pizza” in honor of Right Proper co-owner Thor Cheston, which pairs with their farmhouse ale, and is made with chicken sausage, lemon, parsley, and sage pesto, pecorino cheese, kale, roasted onions, and roasted fennel.

“TACOma opened on Friday.

The rotisserie chicken was very tasty. Reports from the Takoma listserve on the tacos were positive. Someone on the listserve also reports that the hours are 11AM-9PM, closed Tuesdays. No website yet so I attached a photo of the menu:

Momofuku Opens in CityCenter – Check Out their Menu – limited number of reservations now available

First Milk Bar and now coming soon no more for Momofuku – from their website:

“momofuku CCDC is the first momofuku restaurant in washington, d.c.

it serves a roster of dishes that change with the seasons. momofuku has a bar, noodle bar, main dining room, and private dining room. a limited number of reservations will be available starting monday, october 26th, while a majority of the tables are reserved for walk-ins.”
