“Listed for 70,000. Sold for 135k. I wonder what will be built on this lot or if anything can even be built on the lot due to zoning? Wouldn’t surprise me if the next door neighbor purchased to extend their property/add an addition to their existing home.”
Bright MLS says 1706 Florida Avenue, NW sold on November 2nd for $135,000.

We recently revisited the sale of this other Mount Pleasant rowhome located a little less than a mile from the subject property, on the (very opposite) NW edge of the neighborhood, adjacent to Rock Creek Park. Have you heard news about the Whole Foods construction on Florida Ave? The last I heard, they were scheduled to complete in Fall 2020, but it’s still not looking like much. I own a condo nearby, and was hoping to sell after the Whole Foods was finished, but I’m wondering if I should keep waiting or just sell now?“
