“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District have announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with Intent to Kill offense that occurred on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, in the 400 block of Michigan Avenue, Northeast
At approximately 9:12 am, the suspect intentionally struck an adult female victim that was walking at the listed location. As an adult male victim came to the aid of the female victim, the suspect attempted to strike them both with the vehicle. The suspect then exited his vehicle and engaged in a physical altercation with the adult male victim. During the altercation, the suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the male victim. The suspect then fled the scene.
The adult male and female victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries by DC Fire and EMS. The suspect fled the scene in the vehicle and was apprehended a short time later by responding officers. The detectives’ investigation revealed that this offense is domestic in nature.
On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, 48 year-old Dorsey Lee Mack III, of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Kill.” (more…)

“The Third District is currently investigating a shooting in the 1300 block of Park Road NW. A juvenile male has been transported to an area hospitals with a non life threatening injury to the leg. There is a second individual with a minor injury that we are investigating to determine if it is a gunshot wound or not. Motorists and pedestrians can expect road closures in the area as we investigate.
Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099.”

“MPD officers are supporting Metro Transit Police with an assault that occurred at the SW Waterfront Metro station at approximately 7:15 PM. One juvenile victim of that assault was located at the Archives-Navy Memorial with a stab wound. Metro Transit Police will be handling the investigation and anyone with information related to the assault should contact Transit Police at 202-962-2121.”

“About 15-20 teens were seen fighting, two persons got stabbed: a 17yr-old boy with a wound to his hip and an older man with a defensive cut to his hands.”
