“Alright guys, the time has come to help out our beloved @lucky.bar.dc . They haven’t asked for us to do this, but @potockikevin has been going to watch matches there and talking with Paul, they are in a tough spot.

Ourselves, @capcityblues and DC Armoury have put our rivalries aside and we are doing some Lucky Bar merch to help raise some funds to go into their pocket. It won’t be much, but it’s a start.

I think the Airedale is permanently closed. I tried to go there for outdoor drinks on Friday, July 31, and one of the staff was out front with all of the tables turned on their sides. I asked if they were closed, and they said yeah, permanently. (more…)

“We’ve secured sidewalk and street lanes for outdoor dining up at the Quarry House. It will be a fairly substantial cafe seating area wrapping the corner of Georgia and Bonifant, with a large portion composed of a closed off parking lane on Bonifant which will be tented and beer garden-y. The total seating capacity will be 58. Menu [below]; beers will rotate and specials will be boozy shaved ice and pitchers of summer cocktails. (more…)
