If you’d like to win two tickets to “Sips” let us know in the comments and I’ll randomly pick the winner next Wednesday.

Tickets for Sips & Suppers, an annual event hosted by José Andrés, Joan Nathan and Alice Waters, and benefitting DC Central Kitchen and Martha’s Table, are officially on sale.

What:              Sips is a lively benefit featuring some of the region’s finest food artisans, chefs, mixologists, and wineries. The three event hosts will welcome guests and over 35 participants showcasing the region’s bounty with a bevy of food, wine and cocktail tastings.  With music and exceptional food and drink, the evening celebrates the role of the community in addressing the challenges of poverty and developing sustainable food solutions.  For a full list of Sips participants visit http://www.sipsandsuppers.org/sips/artisans-mixologists/

Suppers will be held in 30 homes across the DC Metropolitan area, where nationally renowned chefs will come together to prepare locally sourced meals featuring fine food and wine for 20 or more guests in each home.  Chefs from the DC area and across the country donate their time and skills to participate in these extraordinary evenings and support this vital cause. Dinner hosts and representatives from Martha’s Table and DC Central Kitchen will lead discussions about the importance of local food to health, the economy and the environment.
