Adorable Maisie is an approximately four year old Holland lop who was left behind in an empty condo and then rescued by the landlord. She is a very neat, calm and affectionate bunny who loves when humans lie on the floor to pet and cuddle her. She enjoys a wide variety of chew toys such as willow baskets, apple sticks and cardboard, but is not destructive while roaming in her foster home. She rarely attempts to climb or jump on furniture, and prefers to nap most of the day inside her open pen, coming out to explore around and interact with humans in the evening. She does not mind her foster family’s medium size dog because he is very mellow and ignores her. She was spayed in 2018 and vaccinated against RHDV2 in the Fall of 2021. To adopt Maisie, please fill out an application form here!

Amira is an adorably loving and goofy gal ready to meet her furever people! While Amira is a “sensational senior,” she sure has some pep in her step, especially in the morning when she’s eager to start the day. Amira LOVES to be outside; she will always let her people know when she wants to be out and about soaking up the sun. Amira is very good at walking on her leash, and she is not one to drag her human along. She is content to experience the great outdoors as a team! This gentle gal is not only great with people, but other dogs too: Amira has not met a single pupper she hasn’t loved.

When Amira is not out getting her exercise, she enjoys snoozing on the sofa or in her crate. Sofa time with her people is even better! She will gladly cuddle up to watch all your favorite shows with you. Other than walk time, her favorite time of day is meal time! Amira has yet to try a treat she hasn’t enjoyed to the fullest. Because of her love for the outdoors, Amira would do wonderfully in a home with a fenced-in yard or at least some grass space where she can hang out during the day and take naps in the sun. That said, Amira would love any home with people to adventure and snuggle with! Apply today and you will fall in love with Amira! 7 years **Available for senior adoption fee of $200**

Cookie is an incredibly sweet and affectionate kitty, despite her background. She was rescued by Animal Control from an abusive and neglectful household and is now looking for a loving forever home. Energetic, Cookie LOVES to play with toys; she acts like the kitten she never got to be when she was young. Her favorite toys are Stringy (a shoelace) and Mousey, along with her catnip cigar. Cookie enjoys playing and snuggling with the resident cats in her foster home, so she should do well in a home with another kitty. She enjoys her time with people too, despite the fact that she has every reason not to. She’s not a scratcher of furniture or curtains, so your décor is safe with Cookie. Cookie is a testament to animals being able to recover from traumatic experiences when they are given a safe and loving home.

Ivey is a very sweet silver marten rabbit and is between 1 and 2 years old. She was found on the street by a good Samaritan and was taken into foster care by the House Rabbit Society of Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia. While she is shy of strangers, she will warm up to you quickly and can adapt to the loving care of whomever will be her future owner. When she first came to us she constantly hid herself but over time she has become a velcro bunny. She just loves lying on the couch and enjoying having her head petted and scratched. Ivey is spayed and has been fully vaccinated for RHDV2. To adopt Ivey, please fill out an application here.
