Hoy moly, thanks to Dominic for sending the action at DC’s first “French-Canadian Disco”:
“Le Mont Royal. 10:10pm Friday night.
They must have been handing out Taylor Swift tickets.
There was a small line of maybe 10 people around 8:30pm and they were taking names and numbers. We were told it would be 45min. By 9:30pm it looked like this. We never got a call. A good crowd and good drinks at Grand Duchess met the moment.”

DC Fire and EMS reported Sunday morning: “Technical rescue Canal Rd NW approximately 1 mile prior to Fletchers Boathouse. Adult male stuck up to his waist in the mud along the canal. He appears uninjured. Working to remove him to safety.”

“Just watched a carjacked vehicle run into Florida liquors on 14th and Florida. No one was injured, driver fled the scene and all airbags deployed. Window and some structural damage to the liquors store. Around 6p”
