Fear not, in this regard, the NPS has previously written:
“This type of cherry tree (Prunus subhirtella var. autumnalis) regularly displays pinkish white blossoms during warm periods in the fall & winter months. They’ll bloom again in the spring. See them now on the Washington Monument grounds.”
As for today’s temps hitting 80 degrees later, not sure how normal that is…
