I’d be lying if I didn’t say this thing has been troubled since day one. Actually well before day one. And SOME folks really liked it. And had it been implemented differently this could’ve been an actual game changer. But for those who weren’t here in those days, the Streetcar buzz absolutely injected excitement and more life and certainly had an impact on H Street, NE’s revival. But there were troubles. OH there were troubles. But no need to kick someone when they’re down. So Streetcar – Farewell. Many miles of words were typed about you. You WILL be remembered. “Dear PoPville,

I was at the National Air and Space museum on Saturday the 28th around noon with my nephew and some family and friends. One of the (?) volunteers in the red shirts was so friendly and awesome with the kids, including when my nephew was spewing toddler jargon and he just kind of rolled with it.

He’s cute, friendly and tall and I’m probably too old for him, but regretted not shooting my shot! (more…)
