“Dear PoPville,
Wondering if anyone knows the date for the new WMATA buses? The announcement is clear as mud. It says changes start on Dec 15, but I have seen my old bus route (N2) running when I know it will be renamed and have the route changed. Trying to figure out the new schedule, but can’t even determine when the changes happen. Any insight would be helpful!”
I’m told:
“The new service will start June 29, 2025.
Updated schedules and trip planner will be released in spring.“

Speaking of fishing curiosities…

“The Department of Energy and Environment (DOEE) has recently completed a tissue study of fish caught in DC waters. Results of the study indicate that persons who eat fish caught in the District of Columbia’s Potomac and Anacostia Rivers need to consider eating less of those fish. This notice does not pertain to fish purchased from restaurants, fish vendors, or supermarkets. (more…)
