Well this is awesome. Local ANC rep Rachelle Nigro shared the exciting news:
“Fuji Market is coming to 1201 5th St NW. Today I spoke with Ms. Myung Lee, the proprietor who will be operating the space, and she confirmed the build‑out is underway. Fuji Market will offer Japanese and Korean food products,
bringing a new specialty grocery option right into the heart of neighborhood. She is aiming to open the store by the end of August. Ms. Lee also owns Green’s on P St., formerly Café Joy — so she already has a track record of running a great local spot.”
