“Tamashaa, a modern Indian Gastro Bar, that opened this past Spring in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, DC, is launching a three course brunch menu this Saturday, December 7th.
A bottomless cocktail option is available as well, all presented in the bright and colorful space. The brunch options include an appetizer section of popular Indian street foods like Paneer Bhurji Silders, scrambled cottage cheese on a buttered roll, Potato Cauliflower Kulcha, flattened bread stuffed with potato and cauliflower, served with yogurt and butter and Pani Puri Shots, wheat puffs masala chick peas, tamarind emulsion, with spicy mint cumin water. Desserts include a Rasmalai Tiramisu and the Pistachio Softy, a creamy pistachio ice cream served in a waffle cone. Cocktails include traditional mimosas and bloody marys, as well as a Chaat Margarita with tequila, agave, lime, triple sec, gooseberry and chaat masala.
