On Friday, I reserved a parking spot through SpotHero at a garage near Maketto where I was meeting a date for restaurant week. The address is 765 8th St NE. I typed the address in for directions and headed there, already a little late. When I arrived, it was clearly the wrong location. Turns out, there are two locations of 765 8th St NE!
They have different zip codes but that doesn’t display when you search for the address. Are there other examples of this in the city? Of course I’ve mixed up the quadrants before when I first moved here but this is new!
Luckily my date was understanding despite being 35 minutes late! And the delicious dinner at Maketto was well worth the snowy extra long drive!”
