BREAKING Brookland Bear News – Recovery made, repeat, recovery made. In addition to a great video of an earlier yard crossing, here’s a bonus Corgis*** around Town to celebrate

Thanks to Dan for sending the great update:

The bear is being hauled away. Neighbors were saying “bye, Franklin!”

From MPD: “Update: The bear climbed down from the tree and is running in the backyards of homes in the 1300 block of Franklin Street, Northeast. If you are resident in the block, please stay inside.

The bear has been tranquilized and is asleep by the Human Rescue Alliance in the backyard of a home in the 1300 block of Franklin Street, NE. @NationalZoo Veterinarian is on the scene. @MarylandDNR is also on the scene assisting.

Just capturing earlier for posterity from DC Police Traffic:

Now, our last show may or may not have mentioned Taylor Swift, and we may have gotten into some trouble from confused Swifties who thought they scored a $15 ticket to a Taylor Swift concert. So, to apologize and clear up any confusion, we’ve decided to dedicate another show to her. We promise she might or might not appear this time.
