The DMV weekly contra dance moves to Silver Spring for Labor Day Weekend!
Contra is a fun and easy dance, and darn it, you need more dancing in your life!
No experience needed! Come alone or with friends! All ages. All genders. All body types.
𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 calls to the music of 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 !𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚 (woodwinds), 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧 (keyboard), 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐋𝐞𝐞 (guitar), 𝐉𝐨𝐞 𝐊𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐫 (fiddle/mandolin), 𝐈𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐤 (cajon)
The lesson is at 7:30 pm, the dancing starts at 8:00 pm and goes until 11:00 pm!

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: We now use a “𝐩𝐚𝐲-𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭-𝐲𝐨𝐮-𝐜𝐚𝐧” sliding scale admission. That means you choose what to pay. The minimum is $5, the break-even price is $15, and any amount more will support your fellow dancers and keep this hallowed dance alive. Thank you!
