The Commodore opened up in the former Veranda space at 11th and P back in 2016. They closed in November 2019. Perhaps that petition worked after all.

Negotiations are headed in all the proper directions in bringing the Commodore back home to DC. The familiar faces, the awesome food and the gritty attitude all to be included in a new fantastic location. We are within days of making this thing official and wouldn’t even tease the idea if we were not confident in this becoming a reality. So stay tuned friends!”
