The Commodore is Closing at the end of the month in Logan Circle!!

11th and P Street, NW

Oof, this one hurts. Thanks to Katie (and all who messaged) for the heads up this morning: “the neighborhood favorite corner spot bar, Commodore Public House and Kitchen, will be closing next week.”

The Commodore opened up in the former Veranda space back in 2016.

From The Commodore:

“To all of our staff, regulars and irregulars,

It is with great sadness that we send this note out to everyone. Unfortunately, we were not able to come to a lease extension agreement with our landlord and we have to hang up the old Diver helmet.

These past 3 plus years have been so amazing. The way the neighborhood received us has far exceeded our expectations and we are forever grateful. We’ve had baby showers, engagements, thousands of Tinder dates and even a visit from Lord Stanley. To say that we couldn’t have done it without you is an understatement. We will forever be indebted to you and only hope that the relationships we’ve created here will continue on.

That being said, Saturday November 30th, 2019 will be our Last Call here at the Commodore. It’s going to be a day of mixed emotions, but let’s make it a day that will live on in infamy.

Hope to see you all soon,

Wes, Travis, Rob & crew”

Paddlestar Galactica helps keep writing education 100% free and accessible for all of our students! It’s also extremely fun.

This year’s games will be Saturday, April 27th, 1 PM to 4 PM at SPIN DC. It’ll be a chaotic afternoon of ping-pong, costumes, terrible Battlestar Galactica puns, and good cheer. We’d love to have you join us!
