From a press release:

“Following the success of the flagship Bombay Street Food in Columbia Heights, restaurateur Asad Sheikh will bring India’s bright and vibrant flavors to his next location, opening its doors on June 21st.

After opening award winning restaurants in Northern Virginia (Curry Mantra, London Curry House and 1947), owner Asad Sheikh continues to focus all of his attention on bringing his long time dream of the Bombay-based street food concept to reality with the new location. The new outpost of Bombay Street Food 2 will be located at 524 8th St SE, in the former Garrison space on Capitol Hill. The decor reflects the city of Bombay and its culture, with 75 seats, including an extensive patio.

In addition to its original menu of Bombay street food favorites and classic Indian dishes, the Capitol Hill location menu will feature new items, including Spicy Lal Mirch with roasted red pepper, ginger, garlic and cilantro and the Spicy Monsoon Wedding with black peppercorn, red chili and coriander seeds. Both are part of the Bipartisan on the Hill section of the menu can be ordered with lamb, chicken or goat. Other new menu additions include a lunch special targeted to Congressional staffers, as well as a Kids menu. With its close proximity to the historic Marine barracks, Bombay Street Food 2’s menu will offer specials to marines, including the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and Goat Curry, as well as a daily lunch special. Weekend diners can also partake in brunch specials, including the Anda Bhurji (scrambled eggs with vegetables) or Anda Keema Bhurji (minced chicken and scrambled egg), served with hard boiled egg, homefries and choice of Mimosa or Bloody Mary.

The menu will also feature much of the original menu, a mix of classic Bombay Street Food favorites likeButter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala to street food dishes like Vada Pav one of Bombay’s most popular street snacks. Considered Mumbai’s take on the veggie burger, it’s is made of a spiced mashed potato mixture, which is deep fried into a patty, packed into a white fluffy bun, and garnished with a variety of different chutneys and spices for seasoning. Another street food favorite guests will find isDahi Puri, a popular chaat recipe. Crispy puris are stuffed with a potato mixture topped with coriander, mint and tamarind chutney and yogurt. While many items are vegetarian, guests will also be treated toKati rolls, roasted kebabs wrapped in Roti. For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
