“Sakedokoro means Place of Sake, and Makoto simply means Harmony.
Since opening in 1994, Sakedokoro Makoto has provided an exclusive dining experience to the DC metro area. Our concept is to offer a Tokyo styled Kappo dining experience in which the Chef modifies or changes the menu on a daily basis. Sakedokoro Makoto is not a Sushi bar but an establishment that explores modern Japanese cooking using locally sourced & imported ingredients.”
