Behold The Best Thing from 2018 – So’s Your Mom*

1831 Columbia Road, NW

[* if not looking for delicious $2 rice balls.]

OK my friends, we’ve hit mid-December. And mid-December means approximately 1000 ‘best of 2018’ posts. I’m going to take some editorial license and proclaim So’s Your Mom the best thing of 2018. Sure they had a hiccup in 2016. They were still the best then. And many years before that.

Last weekend I had a delicious “Bronx Style” pastrami sandwich (with deli mustard) for like 6 bucks and I cried tears of joy. There was no pomp. The circumstances were that I was hungry. And that itch was scratched properly and economically. And this is no secret. The place was packed, like it is every weekend. And for good reason. So while we all celebrate the cupcake of 2018 let us not forget those who have been great for 20+ years too.

So it is written, so it so. Congratulations to So’s Your Mom – The Best of 2018.

I remain,
Dan Silverman
Citizen of the District of Columbia.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
